Limits of liability

Registration implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

SABA TOURS shall not be held liable for:
Any illegal or wrongful acts or omissions on the part of hoteliers and other service providers, as well as their employees and agents, resulting in damage to participants, their belongings or personal effects.

In the event of interruption or cancellation of the trip caused by incidents of force majeure (flood, war, revolt, disaster, epidemic, etc.) SABA TOURS will not assume the costs and refunds caused by these incidents.

In the event of conflict or unrest in the countries visited, SABA TOURS will not be held responsible for the impossibility of honoring all or part of the services.
SABA TOURS is not responsible for any loss, theft, physical or material damage that may occur during the trip, and the participant agrees to waive any civil or criminal recourse against SABA TOURS.

Under no circumstances can SABA TOURS be held responsible for traffic accidents or incidents due to external factors (climatic incidents, poor road conditions, stray animals, natural disasters).

SABA TOURS will not be held responsible for the non-payment of extras by participants, for any damage or deterioration they may cause during the trip, or for any fines for which participants may be liable, all of which are the exclusive responsibility of the participant.

Participant obligations

The participant is fully responsible for his or her own safety and that of accompanying family and friends.

The participant must respect the rules, customs and laws in force in the countries visited.
It is forbidden to bring a drone or to film in sensitive areas (military, public administrations, border zones, police, gendarmes).

In the event of transgression, the rider will be held solely responsible, in particular if he or she fails to wear a helmet (for motorcyclists) or in the event of use, possession or transport of narcotics, as well as in the event of drunk driving.

He/she undertakes to respect the speed limits and safety rules in force in the country.
He/she must be used to driving his/her vehicle and be able to drive for an extended period.
If the participant brings his/her own vehicle, he/she undertakes to bring it back to the border, Saba Tours being released from any liability.

Administrative formalities

The participant must provide the following documents:

A valid driver’s license.
A1 or B (car) with 7h training = 125cm3
A2 = -35KW young people under 25, CRF300 and XR 250, XTZ and XTR 660, DR650…
Valid identity card or passport

If the customer brings his/her own vehicle: Vehicle registration document, and if he/she does not own the vehicle, a signed authorization from the owner.

If the customer brings his/her own vehicle. Insurance certificate (green card) stating that the country visited is covered by the insurance company (particularly for Morocco).

If the participant does not take out the insurance proposed in paragraph 8, and does not pay for the entire trip with a “top-of-the-range” bank card that covers medical repatriation, he/she must ensure that his/her insurance covers medical repatriation.

Special sales conditions

Services

– The organization reserves the right to modify activities and the route of the tour at any time, depending on weather conditions and special events. This is to ensure the safety of participants throughout the trip.
– The organization cannot be held responsible for weather conditions, particularly in the event of natural disasters (floods, tornadoes, etc.).
– Disrespectful behavior towards other people’s property or local people may result in expulsion.
– Alcohol is dangerous when riding. No alcohol will be served during meals. The guide reserves the right not to accept a rider on the tour if he considers that his condition does not allow him to ride safely.
– Riding a motorcycle or trike requires certain skills and knowledge. Any customer considered unfit or unable to control the rented vehicle will be stopped by the management and will have to rent a car at his own expense if he wishes to continue his trip. In the event of refusal, the customer will be offered repatriation at his or her own expense, with no further recourse for the customer.
– The group leader will have full authority to inform the agency management and state the reasons for his or her decision. The same applies to persons who have concealed or deliberately concealed their state of health. A motorcycle trip is a physical activity, requiring preparation and good health.

Accompanied tours

You can register for one of our guided tours offered on our website. The total price (including tax) of your trip will be that shown on our website or in our brochures (excluding your personal repatriation insurance), depending on the dates of your trip. You can request a registration form by post, telephone, e-mail or using one of the forms on our websites. The registration form will be returned to you after we have checked availability. You may wish to privatize the trip with people of your choice. In this case, please contact us for a quotation.
Tailor-made trips and holidays
Saba tours offers to build your trip according to your desires
Contact the SABA TOURS team for suggestions of destinations, themes or itineraries to suit your budget. To obtain your personalized travel program, you must submit your request for a quote by post, telephone, e-mail or using one of the forms on our websites. If the validity period of your quotation is exceeded, SABA TOURS is at your disposal to draw up a new quotation for your trip if certain terms and conditions, particularly the price, need to be modified. If you accept this quote within its validity period, you will be able to register using the registration form. Prices for à la carte or customized trips are established on a case-by-case basis. Details of the services included will be communicated to you when the quotation or pre-registration form is drawn up.

Price

Prices are in euros and include all taxes.
They include the services listed on the quotation or invoice. The price of the trip or holiday must be the one shown on this service at the time of registration.
No dispute concerning the price of the holiday can be taken into consideration upon return. It is the customer’s responsibility to assess the suitability of the price before departure.
These prices are subject to readjustment in the event of significant changes, such as security tax, port and/or airport taxes, fuel price increases, exchange rate variations, significant increases in hotel rates, or the exchange rate applied to the trip or stay concerned.
Accommodation standards are based on local norms.
Breakfast, when included in the services, is included the day after a night’s accommodation.

Changes made by the customer before departure

Any changes made by the customer prior to departure will be free of charge, provided the following conditions are met:
– No change to departure and return dates or transport
– No change to destination or type of accommodation.
Any other changes not covered by the above conditions will be considered as cancellations and will be invoiced in accordance with the conditions set out in the “Cancellation charges” paragraph.

Assignment of contract

The transferor(s) must imperatively inform SABA TOURS of the transfer of the contract no later than seven days before the departure date, indicating precisely the surname(s), first name(s) and address(es) of the transferee(s) and of the participants in the trip, and proving that they meet the same conditions as the transferor(s) for the trip or stay.

Registration requirements

The customer taking part in an activity organized by SABA TOURS undertakes:
– to be at least 30 years of age, and to inform us of any health problems that may affect his or her trip (chronic illness, you must inform us in advance of any chronic illness or allergy from which you suffer)
– to have held a valid driving license for the motorcycle for more than 2 years.
– to comply with the highway code and legislation in force in the country(ies) crossed and cannot hold SABA TOURS responsible for the consequences of non-compliance.
– to have a vehicle in good condition, which has recently received a general overhaul. Under no circumstances can the “SABA TOURS” organization be held responsible for the malfunctioning of said vehicle. Any mechanical breakdown will not in any way affect the program of stays. Nor can any reimbursement or compensation be demanded for sums paid for the above-mentioned reasons.
– to have taken out insurance with sufficient cover for the period of the trip, and to have driver’s personal injury cover. The absence or insufficiency of insurance cannot be a reason for liability against “SABA TOURS”
– to have taken knowledge of the level of difficulty of the motorcycle routes, and the level of skill required. He/she is of the opinion that he/she is capable of completing them, and under no circumstances may he/she hold SABA TOURS responsible for any fall or other inconvenience caused by an overestimation of his/her own ability to drive and control his/her vehicle. Given the specificities of motorcycle driving, the customer-driver is deemed to be capable of presenting all guarantees in terms of anticipation and foresight of the risks of traffic accidents, and therefore cannot hold SABA TOURS responsible for a possible accident with a third party (SABA TOURS or another participant in the group)
Duration of trips
Included in the duration of trips:
– The day of departure from the time of convocation
– The day of return until the time of arrival
Our prices are calculated on the basis of a number of nights and not full days.
