Release the throttle before entering a bend. If you’re going too fast, slow down. Once in the bend, if you find that you’re still going too fast, or that you’re heading in the opposite direction or to the side of the road, lean the motorcycle more towards the inside of the bend, especially when braking hard or downshifting abruptly, as this may cause the rear wheel to lock.
Unless absolutely necessary, avoid braking in a bend. However, if the situation requires it, when braking abruptly in a curve, it is necessary to take into account the motorcycle’s inclination. Thus, when riding :

1. Apply light braking without locking the wheels while the motorcycle is tilted and straighten it out as quickly as possible.

2. Once upright, apply the brakes to lock the wheels.

3. Direct your gaze where you want to go to be safe.
